Organising Committee for the second Russia-Africa summit to be held in St Petersburg in summer 2023 approved

Presidential Aide Yury Ushakov has been appointed Chairman of the Organising Committee. Presidential Adviser Anton Kobyakov has joined the Organising Committee as Deputy Chairman and Executive Secretary.

Igor Morozov, Senator of the Russian Federation and Chairman of AFROCOM, is also a member of the Organising Committee.

"The development of a comprehensive partnership with the countries of Africa is one of the most important priorities of the country's foreign policy. We intend to further strengthen friendly relations between our countries. This is exactly the objective that the Second Russia-Africa Summit and Economic Forum will serve," said Anton Kobyakov.
