Africa-BRICS Youth Forum 2022 will take place on October 8th in South Africa

Young social leaders, activists, entrepreneurs and scientists between the ages of 18 and 35 from the BRICS countries and Africa are invited to participate in the forum, which will take place in the online format. It is organized by the South African BRICS Youth Association (SABYA).

The purpose of the forum is to establish and strengthen multilateral ties between the African continent and the BRICS nations. In building up to the South African BRICS presidency in 2023, through the forum SABYA seeks to engage youth on fundamental challenges facing young people from Africa and BRICS.

One of the objectives of the forum is also to create a networking platform between young leaders in Africa and BRICS.

Proposed topics for discussion at the event include renewable energy in BRICS and Africa, economic development, youth entrepreneurship, climate change, the reform of education, and access to technology in rural areas.
