The Governor of the Rostov region met with the Ambassador of Uganda
At the meeting held today, July 7, issues of intensifying trade and economic ties were discussed.

The head of the region, Vasily Golubev, informed the meeting participants about the economic opportunities of the Rostov region and its export potential. Promising areas of cooperation are agriculture, energy, and manufacturing.

It is fundamentally essential for us to have new relations that allow us to use the potential of countries and their regions, business," the governor said.

The foreign trade turnover of the Rostov region with the Republic of Uganda in the 1st quarter of this year amounted to 1 million 330 thousand dollars. Most of them - 1 million 258 thousand dollars - are grain exports.
