Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak discussed prospects of cooperation with the Senegalese minister
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak and Senegalese Minister of Infrastructure, Land Transport and Access to Territories Mansour Fay held bilateral talks on February 14.

The working meeting focused on developing cooperation between the two countries in the field of energy. The participation of Russian companies in the development of renewable energy, lighting infrastructure and urban development programs in Senegal was the talking point of their discussion.

In addition, the prospects for the creation of a Russian-Senegalese commission on trade and economic cooperation were also discussed.

"Senegal keeps its doors open for entrepreneurs and investors from Russia. This topic is under the control of the country's leadership," Minister Fay said.

Deputy Prime Minister Novak also invited Minister Mansour Fay to represent Senegal at the the 25th World Energy Congress that will take place in St Petersburg on 24-27 October 2022.
