Tatarstan establishes ties with the countries of West Africa
The Republic of Tatarstan, having developed industry and agriculture, is ready to cooperate in these directions with the countries of West Africa. The head of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov stated this during his meeting with the President of Senegal Macky Sall.

"It is very important for us to find good reliable partners, our region has developed industry and agriculture, and we are ready to work in these directions. In return, Senegal has created favorable conditions for investors and it is a good hub to move on to other West African countries," Minnikhanov said.

The parties discussed plans for further development. Over the last two years the trade turnover between Tatarstan and Senegal has been kept at the level of 2 million dollars, this figure is extremely low and there is a potential for growth.
