Russia and Egypt discussed progress made in preparations for the 2022 SPIEF
Adviser to the Russian President Anton Kobyakov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Egypt to Russia Nazih Ali Bahaeldin Elnaggari.

Both parties prioritized strong bilateral relations and discussed measures to further develop trade and economic cooperation and also cooperation in the field of science, education, culture and tourism are an important aspect of Russia and Egypt relations.

"Among the promising projects of mutual interest for both countries, there is the implementation of an industrial zone in Ain Sokhna, which contributes to the expansion of business opportunities for Russian companies in the Middle East and Africa," Kobyakov said.

Both sides also discussed progress made in preparation for the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2022, where Egypt will enjoy honorary guest country status and an exhibition stand too at 2022 SPIEF.
